Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. Lefevre's first job as an actor came about when she was employed at a cafe. An Canadian film producer spotted the actress while she was serving tables. The actress then relocated to Los Angeles and earned a frequent appearance on the TV program What About Brian (2006). The actress' acting talents were discovered by a customer from Montreal while she was teenager in the restaurant. The show's frequent guest put her into contact with an agent for casting. The result was the creation of a Canadian television sitcom. She appeared on several seasons of David. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004), which eventually led to a principal character in his 2008 U.S. adaptation of BBC popular Life on Mars (2008). Lefevre was brought up within Montreal through her father's French family, but she was raised in English. She landed her largest role in a film, which was Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. It is the first of a popular collection of novels for teens.
