Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style rapidly pushed her into the top charts after she caught the attention of the public in 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the ability to write catchy but emotional songs put her on the frontline of modern mainstream music, along with arty and independent pop. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a contract. Her debut album was ready for release.
