Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. She is most well-known as the anchorperson of the CNN's At This Hour morning show. In the past, she was co-anchor for the morning program of CNN, New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage of both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress activities, including talks to increase the federal loan limit and Super Committee discussions. Her general assignment work has included reporting on Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as a National Correspondent in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she covered breaking news for the 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided features reports. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. Her current residence is New York City along with her two children, husband and parents.
